This is what I am talking about. But on the version we are running there is a
clear button right on the BIB editor. 
ex:

Say I bring this up in the bib editor. In the dev week version we are running,
say if you click [6] to go to the 600s, you should see "Soundtracks" as a
locked authority. In our version there is a [...] AND ALSO a [CLEAR] button
next to that, which save tons of time because frequently these need cleared and
it is far faster to just clear it on the edit screen rather than the
authorities search screen.
