This bug is a much bigger deal than we initially thought. Not only do carriage
returns in the notes (screen_msg) field break the self check, but they reveal
staff notes on patrons TO the patrons. 

The SIP server should only send the OPAC note to the SIP client, and NEVER send
the private note.
