The library wanted a way to create items from a specified profile when
bibliographic records were loaded (instead of creating 952s in the MARC
record).  This feature allows creation and saving of import profiles with
settings for the various item fields like item type, collection code, call
number.

It can also be used to add or remove specified MARC fields and/or subfields
from the incoming MARC record.
