I just did "sudo apt-get install koha" on an updated version of Debian Squeeze
and ran into this problem: 

"sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start" reported: 

Starting web server: apache2Syntax error on line 82 of
/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/koha: 
Invalid command 'RewriteEngine', perhaps isspelled or defined by a module not
included in the server configuration
Action 'start' failed. 

"sudo a2enmod rewrite" solved the problem.
