Bug #: 6177
Summary: Offline Circulation: Renewing items sometimes causes
subsequent transactions to fail in processing
Classification: Unclassified
Change sponsored?: ---
Product: Koha
Version: master
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: Circulation
AssignedTo: kyle.m.hall at gmail.com
ReportedBy: wizzyrea at gmail.com
QAContact: koha-bugs at lists.koha-community.org
CC: gmcharlt at gmail.com
Renewing items through the Offline circulation module sometimes causes
subsequent transactions in the .koc file to fail.
To test:
have a patron with an item on issue
in offline circ, reissue that item to the same patron
issue a 2nd item to a different patron (or as many as you want to, with as many
patrons/item combinations as you want)
upload the file to the offline circ processor, note what is done: all
transactions should complete.
Sometimes it is just the reporting that glitches: the transactions are not
displayed to the screen, but are reflected in the database. Other times I have
observed the transactions after renewals failing altogether.
