I also tested this with record containing Chinese characters. No problem with
displaying the record, editing and saving.

Dobrica: Note that some decodes are not always visible in the script. Addbiblio
for instance 'hides' them in the Biblio module: TransformHtmlToMarc.
Consistency in Koha is a large and continuing project :)
