I've done it to check my patch was not making things worse for "when placing an
order" syspref ;-)
But I think it does not make things worse in that case, it has just no effect
when tou suppress the items.
But when the items are suppress, you still have the same warning if you try to
delete the record. So it is usefull even with "when placing an order" syspref.
