Hi Suzanne, you could use the patron list feature: Search for all patrons of a
certain patron category in the patron search, than add them all to a list of
your choice and use the list for the batch edit.

I think while this has a bit more steps than what you suggest it has the
benefit of not needing to replicate all filters available on the patron search.
