            Bug ID: 22387
Summary: Checkin alert for transfer items to stop further
                    checkins
 Change sponsored?: ---
           Product: Koha
           Version: 18.11
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5 - low
         Component: Circulation
          Assignee: koha-bugs at lists.koha-community.org
          Reporter: fiona.borthwick at ptfs-europe.com
        QA Contact: testopia at bugs.koha-community.org

  Target Milestone: ---

When checking items in you get an alert box if the item has to be transferred
to a different library.

However you can continue to scan item barcodes into the Checkin screen so there
is a chance that you will miss this.

With the hold alerts, library staff are forced to select an option before they
can move on. Could the transfer alert be enhanced so it behaved in the same
way?

Also if the item has to be transferred to satisfy a hold, staff are forced to
acknowledge the action before proceeding. The different behaviour appears to be
with just this standard transfer alert.
