Charles, I cannot promise you no discussion, this is not how the community
works.

I don't remember this being voted on in a general meeting (sorry if I am
mistaken), but that is probably the only formal way we have to say 'yes, we
agree to do it that way' See votes on the new REST API for an example.

I am not out to upset you, I really appreciate your and InLibro's contributions
to the community a lot. But this code has been started in 2016... I think it
can't really work the way you want it to just going in without discussion and
possibly changes.
