I have been working on it... and this is it happening because cn_sort is not
filled, I have been able to trace how the items has been created.. and has been
created via mysql.. then cn sort is empty and koha has a null value at mysql
and it is not able to create it.

It is not really a bug.. it is because items has been created directly from
mysql
