An interesting point of detail, those expired subscriptions will *not* generate
items.
I've got subscriptions with an end date in the future but which are set to
receive a specific number of issues. When that number of issues is reached,
even though the end date is still in the future, Koha marks the subscription as
expired in *some* places, but not all. On the receiving page, changing the
dropdown from "expected" to "arrived" does not cause the item creation form to
pop up.
