I think you need to set 942$c authorised value to 'itemtypes' to have the
dropdown list.
Unfortunately I just tested that and, while I get a dropdown list, it's empty.
Fortunately I just submitted a patch on bug 32484 and it looks like it fixes
this issue, so you might be interested in testing it ;)
