Hello David,
I read through this thread... which ended on an ellipsis.  Amusingly quite on
point.

I find the discussion on the standard fascinating (exchange is stretched, I
realized it was only you keeping notes), but I was lazingly hoping for
something practical.  

Unfortunate, I was so happy to find this bz after such a lenghty search to
understand why our biblios with big notes (505$a) indexed on zebra would give
us crappy results entries with no title or bib number, where notes is not even
considered in results.tt

Do you have a suggestion?  Where is the 9999 limit, in the end?  Because I
don't see it anywhere in the code, nor in MARC perl libraries.
