I've had this a few times recently, it's usually the fault of the plugin your
trying to install.. or the plugin your trying to upgrade.

I thought perhaps we should code more defensively for install, upgrade and
uninstall methods when run.. but I note they're already inside a try/catch
block so I'm a little confused.
