I don't have any better suggestions, and the patch works as expected so I will
sign off.

I tested with ES 6.8.23 and ES 7.17.1.
Two tests are failing with ES 7 in
t/db_dependent/Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch/Search.t but they should be
fixed by bug 28610
