We are not on V3, but what you say is correct. Martin and I, independently,
tried that route. Embedding the top level YAML files in swagger.yaml
That would solve the first barrier and I can submit that.
But then there's the ref resolution problem... We didn't manage to make it
work. And the error messages were misleading and pointing to the library mixing
definitions and paths.

I'll try to do it to share the results.
