The problem could have multiple sources/reasons, but it's very hard to help
with such old versions. 

If the problem remains, maybe someone on the mailing list could help. As this
is a request for a totally different enhancement, it would be better to move
the discussion to the mailing list.

You can also search Bugzilla for old/closed bugs by adding the "ALL" to your
search terms.
