I asked myself the same question regards the use of AV here.. and would likely
ask it again if it was switch to additional_contents.. it feels like this is a
big enough feature tree that starting with a fresh new table instead of trying
to plumb extra functionality into other tables is the right way to go... 

The account types stuff is a clear example of where/why this makes sense.. we
added lots of functionality to it really quite quickly once we'd converted from
AV to distinct tables.. AV's and Additional Contents end up very restrictive if
you are actually trying to tie functionality to this stuff...

You talk about future enhancements Marcel.. any change you can write up a tree
of bugs to describe where your headed with the big picture?
