I am almost there. I think the only problem is that the input is not filled in
with today's date when we click "filter".

The last patch gets rid of the unnecessary is_fp_disabled and
updateMaxExpirationDate() I was referring to in my previous comment.

I won't have more time for this today, please have a look!
