Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

In this fix, the "OnSiteCheckouts" preference can be used without depending on
the "SpecifyDueData" preference. Regarding the functionality of being able to
modify the preselected due date, I used the same behavior that on-site checkout
has for individual loans (the preselected date can also be modified there).

I look forward to any feedback.
