No, not really.  Especially for users with long names. Example:
Juan Carlos Rodriguez Gonzalez III

If the suffix is added to the middle name, then notices would read Juan Carlos
III Rodriguez Gonzalez.  

We also have the issue of non-standardized data, which could be fixed with a
populated, drop-down menu. This would be useful for II vs. 2nd vs. Jr. or 3rd
vs. III, depending on what the system's needs were.
