Is it possible to make the columns limitation of the record user-specific? Or
at least as long as the session. 

Then Koha would remember the columns selected by the user and they wouldn't
have to be redefined in each different record? For example, there are too many
columns visible for laptop use and user must select and limit columns in every
record he/she goes to.
