In case it helps, I believe the problem occurs at line 616 in
Koha/SimpleMARC.pm

    if ( @$field_numbers ) {
        @values = map { $_ <= @values ? $values[ $_ - 1 ] : () }
@$field_numbers;
    }

@values is empty after these lines have run.
