Actually, I think that I might know what you mean. If we had separate processes
for polling and rabbit, people who prefer polling could use polling, and people
who prefer rabbit could use rabbit. 

That could make things easier, as concurrent processing for polling and rabbit
needs to be handled differently. And acknowledgements may or may not be used
with polling...
