See bug 34447, it's a global bugfix (will fix tables in the ERM module as
well).

Good catch. I had to provide the same fix we wrote for bug ERM on bug 33606.
Done in commit "Bug 30708: Rebase - Use a dedicated 'config' endpoint"

However there is still a problem when the logged in user tries to set the
settings without having the necessary permissions.

I've adjusted the remote branch and the sandbox.
