This is a very brave effort to get this template more clear. But as it seems,
not without any discussion. There was no feedback on the previous comment.

The number of adjustments
 .../prog/en/modules/reserve/request.tt        | 587 ++++++++++--------
Does not make it easier.
Holds is very bug prone. Not to mention recent additions like item groups etc.

I am not sure if this (simple) test plan covers all edge cases. Hard to verify.
Does this need some broader consensus/discussion?
Should this be marked as an enhancment?
