I have a few follow-up questions:

1. Should a default value of noindex, nofollow be used here?  

2. Is freetext the right thing to use here? Using conflicting or inconsistent
values can confuse search engine crawlers and cause them to make incorrect
assumptions about how to treat your pages in their index.
