Everything ok for me following the test plan.
We cannot add booking when item is already checked out

If we display a record, then on other tab check out item or change an existing
booking period, we must refresh the record display so that available periods in
the calendar of the booking form are updated. Useful to know when testing, but
I think not a problem in real conditions of use in the library.

May still be a problem : when a booked item is checked out for the patron who
asked for it, it remains in the bookings table.
