Thank you for taking a look Jonathan, this is great.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back to this, but there is still the
matter of:

ATTENTION: This does not solve the whole issue, i.e. MARC fields not mapped to
Koha fields will still be stripped.
More work required.
