            Bug ID: 35208
Summary: Automatic age modification needs a custom date field
 Change sponsored?: ---
           Product: Koha
           Version: master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5 - low
         Component: Cataloging
          Assignee: koha-bugs at lists.koha-community.org
          Reporter: cbrannon at cdalibrary.org
        QA Contact: testopia at bugs.koha-community.org
                CC: m.de.rooy at rijksmuseum.nl

Automatic age modification can change an item based on the age from these
fields in the item:
dateaccessioned
replacementpricedate
datelastborrowed
datelastseend
damaged_on
itemlost_on
withdrawn_on

If I want to have a new item be set with a status after a certain period of
time, none of these are adequate for this task. Often, our dateaccessioned is
set at time of order, not the time it hits the shelf. Same with the
replacementpricedate.

What we need is a custom date we can set somewhere. Either we need a new field
for the item, or we need a table this functionality can reference.
