I used the Inventory module to handle batch check ins for items that were still
checked out and due prior to 2022. We wanted to remove these items, and batch
delete did not allow it since they were still checked out. It's a decent
workaround. Just be sure to only check in your own items, and create a report
for collection development prior to removal from Koha.
