I believe this defer_loading check was added here to have the "back" browser
behavior work in the event that a search only returned 1 result and the
cgi->redirect to that result kicks in (as opposed to showing the search results
with just 1 entry).
Is this cgi->redirect (in members/member.pl) still needed now that we have
auto-complete suggestions?
