[Koha-devel] Dropping support for squeeze and precise

I'm very much considering dropping support for Debian squeeze and Ubuntu
precise (12.04LTS) from the packages come the late-May release of Koha
3.20.

This has come to something of a head here:
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13642#c58
where it'd probably be an inordinate amount of work to backport the
required package, however it should just work on newer distros.

It's also notable that Debian's jessie release is currently planned for
April 25, so we'll continue to have two supported versions of this.

So, while I'd like to ask if this is going to really ruin anyone's day,
unless there's a particularly compelling reason, this is more or less a
foregone conclusion now as it's reached the point where it's risking
holding back features in Koha.

So yeah, go and plan to upgrade to trusty (14.04) if you're on Ubuntu or
wheezy if you're on Debian (or jessie if you're keen, though I haven't
really tested the packaging on that yet.)
