Hi Owen,

Such a syntax results in 4 strings in translator : checkouts are /
BLOCKED / because fine balance is / OVER THE LIMIT
The result is that you may get a translation that the librarian can't
understand.
Isn't it possible to have the whole sentence in 1 html tag ?

Other option maybe: improve the translator tool to avoid splitting on
<span> ? would it be possible ?
