Maybe they will have some suggestions. Kind Regards, Chris ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Bernardo Gonzalez Kriegel Date: Thu, Feb 17, 2011 at 5:32 PM Subject: SQL files for es-ES Koha To: Chris Nighswonger Hello Chris, for some time I have been translating Koha to spanish. I wonder which way is better to include the SQL files needed for full localization of Koha into spanish (I mean files on installer/data/mysql/es-ES, the latter directory does not exist yet) 1) File a bug as an enhancement and 2a) make a huge patch with all files 2b) make incremental patches until done or 2c) create and populate the es-ES directory with english files (you or someone else) and I will do patches for each file until done. What do you recommend? Sincerely Bernardo PS: I do not know if this will be completed for some iteration of 3.2.x, or to 3.4.x, but have to start sometime. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... You can load sample data in different languages during install - this is available for German including translated frameworks. At the moment only one language at a time is supported for the database based data. Other exemples for that are authorized values, item types, borrower categories or notices. I've almost completed the portuguese translations for Staff Client. Of course, the translations need a revision because they are 9000 phrases and it's normal to have some errors... There 29 words that weren't translated but the interface for translations crashes when I tried to translate those words. Fr?d?ric or anyone on the Koha translations administration, it is possible to know what's the problem? Regards. On March 15, 2011, 3.2.6 will enter a string freeze to facilitate finalization of translation updates. After this date the only patches introducing string changes which will be pushed for 3.2.6 will be those addressing blocker bugs or security issues. All others will be pushed to 3.2.7. Patches not introducing string changes will be pushed up to the time of the release. Keep up the good work! I've just updated the Koha translation plateform: http://translate.koha-community.org I've done this update today because I won't be available tomorrow. From what I can see, there isn't any new string in this update.
