Hi Elizabeth,

Is your Z39.50 service is working when you are connecting the net through
a proxy? In my case z39.50 client is working when I'm connecting my
machine directly to Internet through dial-up but reports 'none found'
when my machine is going through our proxy server. Should I request my
server administrator to open any specific port? If yes which port?

I'm glad it works. I will warn you I think there is a bug that
affects z39.50 searches when searching by title. Paul mentioned about
a week ago that he had found and fixed it. I got a copy of his fix
out of cvs, but haven't had time to test it yet. I'll post something
to the list after I test it.

In the meantime, don't be surprised if you get some strange results
  when searching by title.

Thanks, Rob, you were correct: I messed up on adding the YAZ\bin
    folder. The z39.50 now works.

      Hi Elizabeth,
I am pretty sure your problem is caused by the YAZ\bin folder
not being added to your environment path correctly or perhaps
the computer not being rebooted since it was added. Please
double check your path and make sure there is not a typo.
