Code was never written to include these changes to the checkboxes in the email that is sent to staff. So if a patron does click on one of these, staff is never notified. The notification checkboxes appear on the update form even if EnhancedMessagePreferences is turned off. The text message options appear even if SMSSendDriver is not defined. Plus there now exists several more options for enhanced messaging. Since there are now more EnhancedMessagePreferences, and since the patron can change these options through the "my messaging," and since these options do not work, I propose that we just write a patch to remove these from the borrower update page. We could create a link to 'my messaging' if EnhancedMessagePreferences is turned on, but I don't really think it is necessary since we have the 'my messaging' tab. Am I missing anything?
