Our patrons do not want to see items showing on their account if they have returned/claims returned the items. We would need to have this function in place before we can start using Claims Returned. As someone else mentioned, all the patron sees is that they still have the item checked out, and they do not see the "Claims" status. It looks like just a regular checkout for them. I think it would be great if there were 3 options 1. Add the status to the patron side 2. Not showing the claimed item to the patron at all 3. Leaving it as it is now (although someone could just but a space for the OPAC description of the lost status maybe if they wanted it like it is now?) We are already using the claimed return as it is.
