[Bug 14234] New: Include the user manual with Koha package
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14234 Bug ID: 14234 Summary: Include the user manual with Koha package Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: indradg@gmail.com Reporter: indradg@gmail.com QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: nengard@gmail.com At present, Koha's online help documentation includes a link to the topics as presented on the Koha manual hosted at http://manual.koha-community.org/. This presents a major problem for users who run Koha with intermittent / low bandwidth Internet access, as they are largely unable to access the manual pages. The usual workaround is to locally downloading the Koha manual, which does not solve the issue as the online help topics do not link to a downloaded copy. Can we consider shipping the manual along with the koha package? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

We also need to consider the requirement for the l10n-ised manual in languages other than English. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Could we keep the manual in a separate 'dependency'? So you could choose to install it or not? Not sure what would work best for providing different translations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
