[Bug 38907] New: letsencrypt / debian package name change
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38907 Bug ID: 38907 Summary: letsencrypt / debian package name change Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Installation and upgrade (command-line installer) Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alexander.wagner@desy.de QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen@gmail.com `koha-create --letsencrypt` checks the system for the `letsencrypt` package in function `check_letsencrypt()`. This piece of code seems to have been added for Debian Jessie. At least from Debian Buster onward (oldoldstable at time of writing) the package `letsencrypt` is a virtual package only and one should go for `certbot` instead. This would become relevant one Koha gets installed on some Ubuntu as this derived distribution does _not_ add a virtual package pointing to `certbot` at least from `focal` onwards (anymore?) hence the check fails. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
