[Bug 10966] New: in advanced search, location should be handled in a better way
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10966 Bug ID: 10966 Summary: in advanced search, location should be handled in a better way Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: gmcharlt@gmail.com Reporter: mathieu.saby@univ-rennes2.fr QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org In advanced search, location is handled like author, titles, subjects, etc. But location index contains coded information (mapped with authorized value), so it should be searchable in a better way, by choosing some locations in a list of available locations. I think we should remove location from the pull down. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10966 --- Comment #2 from mathieu saby <mathieu.saby@univ-rennes2.fr> --- Hi Katrin I did not check the syspref ;-) All I know is that it is unneeded in the pulldown. By the way, a way to defining the indexes to display in the pulldown on advanced and simple search (on staff and opac) could be interesting too. I know it could be done in jquery, like other stuff, but I would prefer a config page. Mathieu -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10966 --- Comment #3 from Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer@bsz-bw.de> --- I agree it would be nice - lots of people here are complaining about "Curriculum" - the problem is the usual: translatability. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
