This JavaScript error will have been preceded by a JavaScript error on opening the record in the editor, "document.getElementById(link) has no properties". Field duplication has no such problem in the default template. In related news, a prior bug not reported to bugzilla causing MARC 21 records to have 000/09 reset from 'a' for Unicode to blank for MARC 8 is not present in the default template currently.
