I work in several Koha that use Galician as main language, so it would come in handy to improve the Galician po files. I have focused now in the OPAC, as it's the public part, but the intention is to cover later on the Intranet. From there they are updated in Koha with every release, including the monthly minor ones. So if we took your patch into Koha, it would get overwritten by the incomplete trnaslation stored there. So we need to make sure this gets into translate.koha-community and from there into Koha. I am adding our translation manager Bernardo in CC, but you might want to email him directly to ask for help merging the files.
