Is that the expected behaviour? Do we want them to be able to alert even if it's still not ready yet? Do we need a syspref (or per library, in the admin) to control that? If we don't allow them to 'alert' we should probably at least display information about the pickup not being ready yet? Lisette, what's your opinion on this?
