[Bug 12277] New: Improve screen layout during acuqisition and creating new catalog record
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12277 Bug ID: 12277 Summary: Improve screen layout during acuqisition and creating new catalog record Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: imingchan@yahoo.com.au QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org When using "Add order to basket" with "From a new (empty) record), the user enters available catalogue information, and then item details. The current "Add Item" button can be improved, so when you only order one (1) copy of the title, you can then goto "Accounting Details" without mouse scrolling. To achieve this, perhaps we can modify as below (user to choose one of the 2 options): 1. Rename the existing "Add item" buton to "Add another item". By clicking this button, it will take you to the top of the "Item" area (like now). 2. Add a new button "Finalise". By clicking this button, it will take you to the "Accounting Details" area without mouse scrolling. Alternatively, perhaps the existing "Accounting Details" can be presented as a separate pop-up screen, which will appear after clicking the new "Finalise" button? This enhancement aims to minimise mouse scrolling on the same screen. ** This will only impact those who have chose to "Create an item when placing an order" (found in Administration > System Preferences > Acquisitions) ** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
