I don't think Marcel liked my patch, but his suggestions weren't feasible, so... I don't know. I'm not inclined to work on it, since I'm not sure what I need to do to get it to an acceptable point. It's essentially a duplicate of bug 14238 anyway, so perhaps Kyle can write his own patch.
