I've experimented with turning on all of the 4 System preferences with a partial match for 'VisibilityForGuarantor' - but I can't find a combination which works. I've also tried adding a child patron and then adding the guarantor to the patron (instead of using the 'add guarantee' button) - but it makes no difference.
