Here are the steps I took to reproduce on ktd: 1. Go to Administration -> Classification configuration 2. Edit "Other/Generic Classification Scheme" and set "In Use" to "yes" 3. Edit any 3 items. 3.1 Make sure the first item has field "O - Full call number" set to "Perl 123" and field "2 - Source of classification or shelving scheme" set to "Other/Generic Classification Scheme". 3.2 Make sure the second item has field "O - Full call number" set to "Perl 124" and field "2 - Source of classification or shelving scheme" set to "Other/Generic Classification Scheme". 3.3 Make sure the second item has field "O - Full call number" set to "Perl 125" and field "2 - Source of classification or shelving scheme" set to "Other/Generic Classification Scheme". 4. Do an item search with the fields set to: 4.1 From Call number: Perl 123 4.2 To Call number: Perl 125 5. All 3 items were found, as expected. 6.
