[Bug 34984] New: Canceling a hold from the holds over tab shouldn't update the last seen date
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34984 Bug ID: 34984 Summary: Canceling a hold from the holds over tab shouldn't update the last seen date Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: emily.lamancusa@montgomerycountymd.gov Reporter: emily.lamancusa@montgomerycountymd.gov QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt@gmail.com Canceling a waiting hold from the Holds Over tab currently updates the item's last seen date. However, the fact that the staff member is canceling the hold doesn't necessarily mean they have the item in their hand. If the item is missing from the holds shelf, the staff member may cancel the hold from the holds over tab and mark the item missing, in which case the item's last seen date certainly should not be updated. On the other hand, if the item is there, the staff member is meant to check it in after canceling the hold. That check-in will update the item's last seen date anyway, so again, it is not necessary for it to be updated when the hold is canceled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
